My name is Randy Nelson and I am looking to exchange stories with someone
from your area.

I live in the city of Eugene, Oregon, in the Northwest area of the United
States.  Having

lived in the U.S. my entire life, I have obviously led a relatively
sheltered life.

My concept of what has actually been taking place in Sarajevo, on an
individual level, is

naive. Please try to help me understand what life has been like for you,
your family, your

friends, etcetera.  Let me know what you think of the United Nations and
the United

States.



Additional information about me:



I am a student at the University of Oregon in Eugene.  Accounting and
finance are my major

areas of study.  Beginning the Spring of 1996 I will enter the
University's MBA program.

I have lived in the states of Hawaii (the island of Maui) and California
(Los Angeles and

San Diego).  When I can find free-time, I enjoy hiking and mountain biking
in the Cascade

mountain range in Oregon.  From what little I can see on news clips, the
terrain around

my home is similar to that of yours.
